Just beat them in regulation and get this over with. Its become just as annoying as that Minnesota streak.

A loss tonight, and it will magnify the what-ifs from last month.

A win means the game vs San Jose will be for 1st in the division going into the Christmas break - which is crazy when you think about it and how schizophrenic this team has been the last month.

Is this not an almost must win game? IF they want to stay in a playoff spot, you can't be giving up points to lesser teams like this.

I know there is an NBA logo in the gif, but there is no way that isn't an Oilers fan watching an oilers/coyotes game. NBA logo must have been a mistake.

The colors look like OKC (I miss the Barons) but it could be the Knicks.

If we can beat Arizona in regulation, then the play-offs are possible, win in Arizona and I think we might win the cup....

Well I've got this on record tomorrow morning, match being shown on delay at 6am. Third game this week on UK tv, and the Shark game follows at 3am on Christmas Eve.. It used to be Christmas Day when I'd wake up at that hour!! I'm just hoping for an unbeaten week, not to concerned about top spot, it would be nice, but till the lady sings her tune, it doesn't matter where you are in the table.

There stats on the ticker are all SA Spurs. I'm guessing this is a Nuggets fan from the mid 2000'S when the Spurs beat them in the playoffs and the Nuggets where wearing the weird rainbow jerseys.

in one of my fantasy leagues, Bishop is on my team and was injured last night, so I picked up Mike Smith. I could use the win and shutout please.

The Oilers video guy should be making a video of all the times Mike Smith celebrated after he beat the Oilers and have it on repeat in the team bus or whatever they take to get to the game and definitely in the dressing room. The Oilers need to come out fired up, get in Smith's face, bump him, hack him, do whatever they have too to get him rattled because when Smith plays the Oilers, he looks like the best goalie in the world.

With 71% picking the Oilers to win, I wonder what the prediction contests have looked like for the previous 25 Coyotes games. I'm guessing there's always optimism because, really, it's just Arizona/Phoenix. And then we lose and everyone is wrong.

Real playoff contenders don't lose every game against a bottom feeder like Arizona. If the Oilers are ever going to be legitimate, this streak has to end.

I really think the Oilers are due for a regulation win against the Coyotes.

Anyone see tonight's lines yet? I am hearing that Nuge will be on the wing with Drai and Maroon. If that is the case, I am happy because Nuge needs to get going and maybe taking the pressure of being at center will help.

Saw this on th e CHED preview so you may be right;
Lucic – McDavid – Eberle

Maroon – Draisaitl – Nugent-Hopkins

Hendricks – Letestu – Kassian

Pouliot – Caggiula – Puljujarvi

I agree with you. Playing with our hottest player outside McDavid can't hurt.

Centre Ice amuses me. When I get an alternate American channel, I get a pregame show. SportsNet dare not give me the pregame as if I see it, I'll be on my way to world domination... As soon as the game ends, same things happen.
