That look on Maroon's face cracked me up. IMO he is the guy who makes Hendricks expendable. Brings most of what Hendy does but with a lot more overall ability on the ice.

Nice to see Fayne keeping his P/60 nice and high.

Good on Zack to get the decision over Gabriel in retaliation for the hit on Benning. Boo on Larsson for blowing the coverage on Coyle.

LOTS of juicy rebounds coming off Gustafsson. Disturbing.

Chiarelli better be on the look out for a solid back up goalie....Gustafson in so awkward & brutal in net. God help us lol.

McD taps his chin on the ice and is sent by the NHL officials to the quiet room. I'm all for safety, but this is ridiculous.

I like some moves Chiarelli has made but that was such an obviously poor choice in what looked like a good market for backups in the offseason. Talbot has played the most games and minutes of all goalies. 2 more games than the next guy. Not a lot of trust in the backup.

Oof that powerplay.

You don't score on 100% of the shots you don't take.

What gives with this PP? They've seen the recipe for success, being pucks on net, but they never learn.

No McDavid, so they gave themselves all a pass before the PP started.

One area even Remenda gets is that Connor should be shooting more. If Minnesota is clogging the lanes and there are truly no looks out there, aren't there adjustments to be had?

I really didn't see many shooting opportunities. We suck against teams that pressure a lot on the PK. We have a great old time against teams that are cool to sit back and let us pass as we please. I never really saw any real attempt to set up a 1-timer. That would be a great start. What happened to setting up Letestu The Great? :)

Man.. Gene Principie ... most bizarre intro yet.. he looked like a German leprechaun.. lmao

You could take the Oiler GA videos and most times you'll see a group of 5 guys staring at a guy with the puck behind their net, and then 5 guys suddenly looking over their shoulder as the puck gets fired into their empty net .. doh

McDAVID! Oh YEAH Baby!!

P. Chiarelli math.. T. Hall = A. Larsson, Yak= bag o'pucks (OK he got one right...) K. Russell = $4.1 M+NMC, G. Reinhart= M. Barzal + A. Beauvillier, J. Eberle = R. Spooner,

I can't believe the Wild didn't score there.

Although it hasn't been graceful, Gus is getting it done. He's giving them a chance to win.

I prefer they settle this 4 on 4 though.
