Brodeur made a couple saves after the Oilers got the lead. The Oilers have gotten zero situational goaltending this year.

That save on Clowe was pretty nice too.

Two backhands on the greatest goalie of our generation. Wasn't expecting that in the shootout.

They turned him inside and out, as it were. They'll take the 2 points. So will I, after I'm done puking my guts out from all the drinking.

Interesting choioces for the SO in this game anyways

I really like Perron. He's looking like a steal.

Beauty shot from Ebs. Hopefully that will get his game going. Oh and Hall is definitely not a center and welcome back Nuge.

We still need a goalie obviously.

They needed this game bad for the game the other night was rock bottom.

I dunno about greatest...Patrick Roy may beat you over the head with his Stanley Cup rings if he heard that.

Not saying Brodeur isn't immediate Hall of Fame candidate, but as much as he is a roid rager without the steroids, Roy is one of the greatest goalies of ANY generation.

Patrick Roy also has played on a much more offensively dominant Avalanche team to get most those SC rings. Meanwhile, Marty's highest scorer on his team during those years was Elias, not multiple great scorers.

I'll still take Marty.

And the two he won with Montreal? Not an offensive powerhouse on those teams.

Marty is awesome, being the all time wins leader passing Roy. Overall Roy played on stronger teams but then again Marty took the Avalanche to the brink in the Roy's last Cup final.

I still think Patrick is better, but its splitting hairs. Let's leave it at that.
