As much as we the fans want to eliminate the flames, the Oilers players themselves want it more. 6-1 shots in favor of the Oil. Eberle had a great chance early and so too did MPS.

And this penalty should be enough for SMac to stay stapled to the bench.

Ya, that might cost the Oil a playoff spot.

Lol. I still enjoy his shenanigans. It's just that coaching keeps him on such a short leash.
I would like to see him plaster that Regehr. I doubt he'll ever be able to catch up to him though.

And Jokinen should have gotten a penalty on that play as well. Puck was nowhere near Mac when he went to hit him, plus he came in elbows high, which is why Mac brought up the stick. And why he was so pissed.

I couldn't get my enama bag past security. Since it was full of water it was considered a projectile. I then laughed almost uncontrollably at the thought of me nailing a Flame in the head with an enama bag.

Mac gets a penalty on truly a rookie play. Awww Mac..
Mac haters, take it easy on the lug he probably won't be back next year, or any team in the NHL. His career is likely over..
On another note Teemu!!!!!! Yay!!!!

To the guy that was giving me a hard time about how much I value size. Hartikanen's goal is why SIZE IS IMPORTANT!!
Cogliano is not and will never be a valuable part of the Edmonton Oilers. The day he is no longer on the Oilers NHL roster is the day they turn the corner to being a good team.

HArtikainen is 6-1 198. Right in line with league averages. You still fail.

That 17 Lbs makes a big difference. Anyone over 200 Lbs is pretty damn hard to play against, if they use their size right. Penner is not a good example of this though haha.

...and still your comment doesn't make him any bigger in the NHL or you more correct.. just move along from it. I hate watching posters be squashed by facts.

?? excuse me?? I'm the one who brought the correct facts into the equation (correct weight).
Re-read before starting beef for no reason.
Fact: 210 lbs is big for an oiler.

Linus Omark does it at 5-10 175. Martin St. louis does it at 5'8 175. Brian Gionta wins his fair share of battles at 5'7 170. I would tell you to get a clue but at this point but I am sure most Oilfans already know you dont know anything anyway.

Reddox had the puck behind the flames net at the 6.30 mark of the third. He had position. Tether just pushed him aside got the puck out. Reddox is what 5'10 180? You dont think 3 or 4 inches and 20-30 lbs makes a difference. If you dont you really have no idea what you are talking about

I'm not sure if he'll have Penner's hands and finesse around the net, but I'm loving how he throws his weight around out there. It's been a great early sample size for him so far.

Cogliano can't even beat a freaking rookie on the draw in the flames zone. Pathetic

Hartikainen using that big body to score a beauty. Nice to see we have a good combination of size and talent in the system.

Harti can be a darkhorse to make the team next year.
Love his drive to the net, looks like a faster Penner.
Edit: As much I hate Calgary, I really felt bad for Iginla in that interview. He looked upset, defeated and looked like there was no hope. He was born from Edmonton and should have been an oiler. This is probably why I don't take much into the BOA as some of you guys may, I have a huge soft spot for their captain.
