After Hjalmarsson's sticks breaks, Brule gets the puck and feeds Horcoff, who then snipes one past Huet. Awesome times?

...Gilbert coughs the puck up to Hossa, who then dishes off to Bolland to tie the game up again. Times not very awesome anymore.

Y'know, Dubs still doesn't have his first NHL win. I'm kind of pulling for a W tonight; for poor Devan's sake.

Okay I revise my opinion of that play. Bad play by Gilbert Horrendous play by the oiler forwards. Not one of them came back and got into position so that gilbert had anywhere to pass it, pathetic play by the forwards.

Good effort so far from the Oil, not good as in skilled, but good effort/forecheck and goaltending. Hawks are playing about their average game, which beats most teams most nights and the Oil are in there. The no-call on the slash that resulted in the Horcoff goal was a lucky break.

...Only 20 seconds into the third, Hjalmarsson whistles a point shot short-side on Dubnyk with Toews creating traffic in front. Not good times.

Did I just see that the shots are 38-12 for Chicago? And it's only 3-2. Wow!

They outshot us 21-5 in the second.
Tambo did the most important thing today, he ensured we're going to be the worst in the NHL! :P

It's not Horcoff unless he does something to cancel out his ultra rare goal.
I doubt this team could even complete at the AHL level.

Hawks are playing down....WAY down.
And thanks to R2D2, it's now a 4-2 game. Scratch on friday?
In fairness to Hall, I've wanted to throw a waterbottle at Eakins all season.

The one thing I am clinging to with Gilbert is that this is his first bad season after two and a bit very good seasons. He might be able to turn it around.

Watching Gilbert tonight, I was thinking they should make him a winger.
edit: Not a bad thing...he's a big guy who can skate, pass and handle the puck...maybe they could make him a center.

Souray is the #1...understood that he's done for the year, but really this is a last place team, does it matter who's #1?

Done for the season and pretty much traded to anyone that'll take him if he ever recovers. He's off my books as an Oiler D-man. He's an accounting footnote at this point.
Wooo! Chicago gets their fifth. I'm currently sitting with 4 points in the score picker contest.

Reffing contiunes to be just awful in this league. Jones gets a roughing penalty for a face grab rub and a chicago player earlier in the game flat out slugs arsene in the face and no call.

might have impressed me the most. Morrow played really well against RUS I think it was. I'd take him. I only had to go up with Perry and did. Keith is really good. Doughty looked very good for his age during a couple of the games.
