No boarding call on Dach? fishing

That looked pretty similar to the Yamamoto penalty.

Just reversed with the little guy getting the hit.

Dach's leg catches Ennis's, twists his right foot backwards, looked super ugly on the replay, poor guy, I think he's done for the playoffs.

AA gets the call up, automatically looks awkward as heck... I think Nygard draws in for next game.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind seeing Haas draw in beside Shea and Kass. Gives a righty option for draws and he can step in on the PK

You're thinking AA moves up.. I'm thinking he stays where he is and Nygard draws in for Ennis on LD/Yamo line. We'll see how AA does in the 3rd..

Exactly what I’m thinking. Or Neal (skating worries me) up and PRuss in.

I've liked the Neal/Khaira/Chiasson line. My preference is definitely to keep them together. It's nice to have fourth liners who can move up though, and scratches who can step in without being a complete embarrassment.

Think the ‘easy’ call is AA up and Haas with Shea/Kass for aforementioned reasons.

Any word on Ennis?

I think he's just really noticeable because he's on the ice the whole game...

I saw that coming, winger can't get it out, shot from point.. of course.

How about that no-call of Kubalik on Nurse just before teh goal, two hander across the glove, reaches in, dumps Nurse..

It's time to make a bit of an adjustment on the way we're defending those point shots. There's been a lot of them that seem to get through and tipped in this series.

I've liked the Neal/Khaira/Chiasson line.

Small pet peeve - I wish they would stop calling that the fourth line. They're not being used like a fourth line, but a third one. The Sheahan line has clearly been the fourth line all series.

Need to start getting their bodies in front of those, that goal was the same as the 1st, on the 1st one Chaisson comes out and makes himself tiny, just becomes a screen instead of a block..

I like Bear. I like Bear a lot. He should not be the guy leaned on to play the big minutes on defense. Edmonton’s defense may simply not be good enough to compete with the 12th place team in a playoff series.

I honestly thought our D was superior to Chicago going into this Timbits tourney.

Koskinen is going to need to be outstanding on Friday.

Well, when you lose Larsson and spot weld Jones and Benning to the bench you're left with a shot blocking Russell, the young and inconsistent Bear and Nurse, and a hope Klefbom can play 45 minutes a night like Chris Pronger.

That's a thin D Line. There aren't a lot of options for the coach.

I thought the Oilers looked like they were trying to just hold on for the third period last night. They shortened the bench, and then they just tried to get the puck across the blue line again and again. Trying not to lose - which is never a great strategy.

I didn't see anything really deficient in Jones/Benning pairing last night and I am not sure why they got benched. It puts a lot of stress on the other defencemen when you do that, and if we'd gone to overtime, was the plan to use them as little? That seems unsustainable.

Frustrating to see them lose that way, but they only need two wins in a row to make it through and they're still playing against a bottom third team. There's still a decent chance here.
