Woah this game is on at 4! Why does my Oiler schedule wallpaper say 5. Damn you Oilers.nhl.com.

No complaints here. It's an excuse to start drinking an hour earlier, as far as I'm concerned.

Given the time difference to where he is right now, OGM's probably already more than half-cut....

Yeah like time zones have anything to do with OGM being half in the bag already.

Put me down for loving the 4pm start on what has been a very lazy New Years Eve.

Sadly, a good Monkey's work is never really done, and I won't be able to ring in the New Year properly for another couple of sleeps. It is about 1 hour into the New Year, so cheers should go all around, just the same. drink bdaysmile

I'm just here watching it on the 'net (which is actually much better than I thought it would be here) like the rest of you maroons!

rofl You been peekin' at the Lovey's jewels Monk?? ... icon_lol
I'm sure you meant "morons" , & I resemble that remark.. *hic* HNY Monkey!!
I be tippin' 'em back & this one is in your honor.... now git off her & watch the game!! Here's to ya drink

Much like every dog has his day, and you are allowed to have your yearly night out, Steve Staios scores a goal. Indeed, lightning can strike! Have a 2L of rum and coke for me, will ya?
And just because it is New Year's, doesn't mean I am going to take advantage of some poor drunken local skinny waitress or something.

And with in mind...

Happy Nude Year, you grumpy ol suminabeetch, you! drink rock bdaysmile

Even Roli is envious of that stinker.

Good for Staios. Still think he's a pylon, but good on him none the less.

In fairness to Hall, I've wanted to throw a waterbottle at Eakins all season.

Or we can just pick this conversation back up late in the 3rd period as he skates to the box for a slashing penalty in a tie game.

I'll be honest.
We start the period with the PP in the 3rd, and I truly thought we'd see Moreau-Cogliano-Pisani to "kill" it off.

Does Stoll use the cheapest sticks money can buy? Or does he not know how to properly use them?

I'm just going to say it, this Longcat fellow is quite possibly the best poster on Oilfans.

Id say B. He breaks way too many sticks. He should go back to wood ones if hes going to drive them into the ice like that.

3rd period, going in tied, let's see....oh, wait, got it!

Oilers try to sit on the tie and get the game to a shootout, Nash scores a goal with four minutes left in regualation, Oilers madly scramble to tie game, but can't pull it off.

I've seen this movie before....

I'll be honest.
We start the period with the PP in the 3rd, and I truly thought we'd see Moreau-Cogliano-Pisani to "kill" it off.

Guess who took a shift on that powerplay? icon_lol

This is getting ridiculous, how predictable this crap is.

how are they gonna blow this one?

They are going to spend most of the period on the PP, and give up a goal with a couple of minutes left as the puck his the Jacket coming out of the penalty box in the ass, and bounces out into the center for a breakaway. I'd take it to happen to Jody Shelley, who hasn't scored since Feb. 25th. Of last season.

Later, MacT blames the entire game on "the bounces".

Definition of insanity: doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
