You can't blame the refs for Oiler ineptitude. Sure, there have been a lot of calls... but both ways! The Kings are killing the Oilers at their own game... but in a super-magnified way. 4 PPGs. Wow.

McLeod and Broberg are both Charmin-soft... but I'd say most of our D core are as well.

That last LA goal would go well with the clown tune

It's this type of showing that I question why I get up at 3am to watch the Oilers and also why I'm looking at spending close to £1000 to get to the Heritage classic. My sanity is in question

Look for a seat sale, see if you can stay at someone's house. I could walk there and I'm not sure they're worth. Hell, I can walk to the arena and I don't think it's worth it.

Blue Moon goal from 71... probably the softest player on the OIL.

I like how he gets a head of steam up on the forecheck, but then let’s up when he realizes his velocity may put him in a situation where he may be expected to initiate contact. He really drives me crazy tbh. I’m starting to get a bit negative about him. 🙄

I believe it happened on his first shift tonight.

We ain't making playoffs. I said it in October and no one believed me. This team is as disjointed as it gets. I get the feeling that they don't even like each other. I am reading Murphys story by Westhead... talks about when Mess was here and how everyone mattered and pulled the same chain. 97 and 29 know they super stars. Nurse is their friend. They act like Hollywood stars and rest of team are just along. It's sad, sad state.

BINGO.

The guy is scared of his own shadow.. he's not going to change.. part of his DNA.. move on.. Bouchard is in the same classification.. in fact too many Oilers have the same affliction.. pretty sad when guys with the most jam on the team are the most skilled in McD and LD.

Need to include psychological analysis as part of draft and pro scouting.

Need Kane back and more gritty vets especially on D.

Maybe a bit of that attitude rubs off on more players, but you need players that bring that into the room to start with. We don’t need fighters, but we do need forechecker and guys you don’t want to be in front of the net or in the corner with.

All lambs, no rams.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure that’s a quality Holland seeks out.
