I'm not sure if the talk of relocation is going to somehow give the Coyotes and extra step, but I am guessing not tonight. Maybe in our next game against them though, since that would potentially be the last one in Arizona Coyotes history.
Any word on if McDavid is back in?

Questionable, at best. It's a struggling team like The Yotes so The Oilers don't really need their big guns for them. And they already have a playoff spot locked up so that's another reason not to rush him back.

Connor wants to get his 100th assist so I'm sure he will come back before season's end as well as having another go at The Canucks, because that game can have playoff seeding implications.

Hard to take the Coyotes for granted. They've beat a couple of other teams in the race the last week so clearly embracing the spoiler role. Former Oil King Dylan Guenther was all over the Canucks a couple nights ago.
I think the Salt Lake City stuff just gives them something to rally around too - if it's the last games as the Coyotes, they don't want to go out with barely a whimper. Have to watch out for a team like that.
I would love to see McDavid back...but imagine the Oilers aren't likely to take any big risks if he's not 100%.
"Thinking that a bad team's best players are the reason the team is bad is the "Tambellini re-signing Lennart Petrell" of sports opinions." @Woodguy55

I hope they aren't resting a healthy guy, just for 'load management" reasons. Winning the division is a big deal and they are still very much in it.

Crazy to think that the 100 assist club whose membership counts only 3, and arguably the top 3 players in the history of the game, could get 2 new members in the same season.

Good game to see how consistent this team can play leading to playoffs. After a nice win vs Vegas, this would be a perfect game for the Oilers to just slack it and expect an easy night.

Yotes are a sneaky team and have played pretty well since Doan was recalled. 5-3 in there last 8 with big underdog wins over Vancouver, Vegas and the Preds.
They like to score goals and give up goals. Not sure if I want to see the Oilers play pond hockey rules this close to the playoffs. Buckle down and limit opportunities and win a boring game please.

How about this... We have one last home shootout tonight. A 6-5 game or something. Play the Canucks like it's a playoff game, 3-2 in either direction. Blow the Sharks out 7-1 on stat night. Have another shootout in Phoenix as the NHL says goodbye to that desert, I think those fans truly deserve it. Then have a brisk, but safe, playoff practice in Denver to round out the regular season.
Please do not feed the bears. Feeding the bears creates a dependent population unable to survive on their own. Bears.
