I'm worried that he'll ruin Skinner as well.

Me too 😞

We just won’t win witb Campbell in net. Ugh. Why is goaltending a forever problem with us??????? I don’t get it
|
Because management doesn't prioritize goaltending drafting or development. At some point they just got it in their mind that they could acquire a finished product easier than working hard to create one. You just don't get elite goalies that way. Oilers should have a superstar ready to debut in a couple of years, but nope, that winger from the Q was more important.
And the NHL goalie coach has sucked for 10 years and somehow has kept his job.
|
It’s just frustrating
At this point we should have kept Kosk. Hell he at least could have a string of decent games. Campbell has really only had one quality start.

Yeah, I'd say it's pretty conclusive that the signing was a failure. He's just not a good goalie and this team is in tough because of it (and highly suspect D).
I wanted Ville this offseason, but Yzerman the genius grabbed him in a trade and took him off of the market. How do we get Stevie Y to come here as GM?

Agreed. Just not sure what we do now? Skinner can take the starts but who do we use if we send Campbell down
4-2. McDavid stays hot

We still have Konovalov's rights, don't we? See if he'll come back from the KHL?

We are just not that good this year so far. It is what it is
Not saying we can’t get there but holy man, we look terrible.
