OK, normally I'm not too bothered about whether I watch the home or away feed for games, but two mins in and I've already had enough of them.
Not that I'm a fan of Louie & Jack by any means, but they're miles better than these two homers

I don’t know if it’s a hot take, but I get a kick out of Jack. He’s just over the line when it comes to cheese, so I get a good cringe and a laugh. He loves doing this. An improvement over Quinn. Though I credit Quinn for sticking through the horrible Oilers teams of the 2010s

I have a buddy back in Saskatoon that I’d watch games with frequently who legit looks like Quinn, complete with glasses but just 10-15 younger. Similar laugh too. It gave those games more entertainment haha

Like the Yam hate definitely cooled when he was on his little heater. Now he’s trending back to the little engine that could.

Well there was a long stretch where Yams wasnt even putting himself in spots to register chances or even shot attempts. That was concerning. I don't know what happened but it's clearly been over for awhile. I don't get too concerned about guys that get scoring chances but have their S% dip a bit.

Friggin Nuge, he should have chested that in, or better yet gave a pelvic thrust off the can and in. I'd love a guy to do that, that'd be the end of the Zegras nonsense, eh?

I'm guessing the knee got a bit hyper extended, would that have strained the ACL a bit? His quad made contact and the lower leg and skate wanted to keep going.

Even our announcing crew has Oilers PTSD. Everyone associated with this team is hanging on by a thread.

All the board ads are for Children's Health of Orange County. Sounds like a 1 game charity thing, but thats gotta scare the hell out of NHL Corp.

4-0.
Can Draisaitl actually be that hurt if he’s being played in this situation?

Leon Draisaitl has one emoji. It’s all encompassing. 😐
Louie and Jack need to beat it.

Okay Jack. Calm down.
Smith over commits. Barely gets across. Lays on his belly and makes the save way harder than it was.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Nice flop towards the side of the net earlier too, just in case anyone was wondering about the over/under on a Smith flop.

Smith is the Walrus. Flopping around with 3 mistakes and Jack and Louie go nuts with joy for the save.

Why can't this team play a full 60? Is it honestly impossible to just stay committed to playing solid hockey for that long?
It provides zero confidence that the Oilers have learned from past failures and near-collapses that they can keep their foot on the gas pedal and finish teams off properly.
I know that the Ducks have only one on the board right now, however they are dominating play and chances in the third. Just wayyyyy too passive for the Oilers.

We need a big game for him to pull past Matthews. I'd love to see the Rocket Richard for him, and taking it away from Toronto would make it even sweeter.

I suspect there's a bonus in his contract for over-the-top Mike Smith love.
The hilarious thing was having them play that clip again and again as Smith flops around like an injured seal.
