Can we seriously go 7 straight wins without Tippett on the bench?

47?

All seriousness with the Florida-Carolina 3 game trip here quickly approaching; 2 points this afternoon would be huge.

Looks like Benson and Perlini are in according to a few tweets.

It will be interesting to see how Woodcroft deploys the lines and ice time today. The Jets aren't great but they play pretty tough and can grind you down. Plus they seem to have the Oilers number.

With forwards, Tippett seemed to list the top 12 forward and just slot them in from lines 1-4 and ice time. Woodcroft seems more committed to creating lines that work together and have chemistry. All while spreading out the TOI a bit (except Shore). In the long run this should benefit the top guys as the shouldn't be as wore down as each game, and the season, goes on.
I will be watching to see if someone with speed and skill gets moved to the top 6 or if he simply bumps every player up rung and inserts the new guys into the bottom TOI.

Let's not judge the quality of the post. Rather we should be grateful that RD popped in on a weekend to grace us with insight.
