For the last few years the Oilers were still selling out, largely due to McDavid. The new car smell is gone. Fans have realized that smell was just a fancy air freshener but the car itself was barely road worthy.
Same goes here I suppose.

Will this team ever be a contender? They have McDavid and Draisaitl in their prime, but the holes in this line up are so huge they will continue to miss the post season for the unforeseen future.
There is very little I like about this organization aside from a few athletes employed by it. It will almost be a relief when he makes the announcement.

I feel like something was very wrong with how Jones/Russell defended the entry on that 4-1 goal haha. In the end, Jones is off to the side of Koskinen covering air, and RUssell is on his knee not in the way of the shot after letting Lindholm skate half way into our zone without a care in the world.
Where is this great Tippett defensive system we're supposed to be getting? Looks like the same bunch of scatterbrained stupidity.
