Can ya blame him? His stars were out for a full 2 minute powerplay trying to set up the perfect right handed shot with 5 left handed shooters only to allow the Pens to win a puck battle as the powerplay was expiring leading to the breakaway.

I thought they had actually controlled it pretty well after Kass’ goal till that Nurse shin rocket pass along the blue line to Bear leading to the god awful attempt by Smith to stop that breakaway.

Thats fair. they arent playing horrible, just no jump, no urgency to anything. The way they are playing reminds me of preseason hockey. Or a last place team playing out the final 5 games.
