Next up on the “MUST WIN” parade, the Toronto Maple Leafs. Game is in Edmonton but the Leafs fans always come out and challenge the Oilers fans in who will be louder. Almost always seems like a joke with how easily the Leafs fans make it seem like the game is in Toronto. Is that because their just obnoxiously loud, or is it because we as fans are quiet by comparison due to the false hope we’re fed? I’m pretty loud in my living room and the 2-4 games I get to a year. But I’m only one man!!

Fairly confident in saying Koskinen will start... I know, bold call eh?

oh, and I say, MUST WIN!!!!

I am at a Christmas party tonight, hosted by a Leafs fan. We have bet a bottle of booze on every Leafs/Oilers game since we were barely drinking age. It used to be the cheapest whisky on the shelf.
Now it is a ~$100 bottle of bourbon.
Must win has a different meaning to me in this one...

Do you guys share a drink of the winnings? At least could look forward to that.

We usually do, it just tastes better when he has to pay for it :-)

Good luck!

sigh, missed all hockey on Thurs. Just looked back and saw that the Leafs lost to the flames 4-2 while outshooting them 34-24. Choked a 1 goal lead in the 3rd letting the flames score 3 straight in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd period. Leafs are gonna be PO'd for this game against us.

So you’re telling me there’s no chance?

It’s our last game till TH comes home...

(Truly DONT think they get Hall or win this game...)

I believe this is the first game I'll see without Don Cherry.
