You can see the white dot in the middle of the puck. It takes two seconds to take that radius and apply it towards the goal line. Of course camera angles and tilt of the puck can impact it but it's nowhere close to being conclusive and anyone saying it is are lying.

Yeah, I’m not so sure anymore. Saw more pictures today, and it MIGHT NOT have been completely over.
I was annoyed last night that they callled it a goal on the ice for all the reasons mentioned. But “knowing” it was over made it easier to swallow. But now I’m pissed - there is absolutely no defensible stance they can take to justify calling that a goal on the ice.
Call on the ice should have been no goal. And were that the case, no chance they overturn that.

I listened to 32 thoughts this morning and Friedman was saying that the situation room and the NHL were really concerned about "what they would tell Pat "(Verbeek) if they had to call it no goal. I'm not joking.
I guess that's the 2026 version of what are we going to tell Corey.
