Game over. What can you say. Bad defense, just stupid penalties.
Go win game 3

Just a garbage game. McDavid with another 2 dozen giveaways. Basically the result of every possession he has is a giveaway.
Better wake up quickly

Gongshow
Half the Oilers are too slow, weak and clumsy to compete for pucks.. can't maintain a forecheck and can't get possession to clear a zone..
That was a comedy watching the 5th goal go in.. total spazz drill all around.. inevitable
Its going to be tougher matching up lines next 2 games..
Did anyone see RNH tonight?

Nuge has been invisible for most of the season, so it's not really much of a surprise that he was invisible in this one as well.
McDavid though, holy hell. Happy that he's not injured, but his brain is miles away right now. Just off in nowhere land, skating around with his demons and getting pulverized mentally. The guy is playing awful; just chill the eff out and try to have some fun.
I don't think I've ever seen Connor this nervy and out of it. You'd think he'd understand the playoffs even more so by now, but these last two games have been brutal.

I’ll add that Knob needs to go if we lose this series. He has just coached a horrific game up to now. We won game one in spite of him. We are getting outcoached, and giving up horrific penalties.

All the commentators trying to sell that this is the first time a team has ever tried to swarm McDavid. It's not, better teams have tried and failed. This is a choice by McDavid to skate directly into coverage all night long thinking he can recreate his goal in his rookie year when he skated through 4 Columbus Bluejackets to score. He's trying to pass through ducks players sticks all night as well. He's just totally off his game and has to get it together ASAP.
I thought Bouch had a better game, but with comedic bad luck. Gets a high stick in the face and immediately scored on. clears that rebound on the GWG, but Drai just standing straight up in la-la land in front of him with no idea what's happening, and it goes off his foot directly to the duck player to score. At least a good sign 1 more guy is getitng it together, but we NEED McDavid to do it as well.

Difference was special teams, and not getting an extra save or two. Otherwise the Oilers did outplay them.
I hope McDavid is going to be ok.
Clean house or bust

Yeah I heard about that on the post game (fwiw no idea why I listened) .. the broadcast crew thought it was a donair .. but seeing the photo I think the chicken was supposed to represent a "duck" ? .. anyway it killed the momentum of the players and building after the tying goal at 4-4 .. gave Anaheim a chance to reset
