The first shot did not go in. It's the little things that matter.

Thanks MJ

Useless fact: I worked with a gal named MJ at 7-11 back in the late 90s. She used to go 'on break' to accept phone calls from her boyfriend who was in the Bowden jail.

Yeah, but it wasn't the first shot nor was it in overtime. Honestly, I think that's a positive trend.

Someone see if Harnarayan Singh needs to be resuscitated after his enthusiasm on that goal call. He’s basically called this series as a Jets home broadcast.

Edit: he screeched pretty good for Connor there. (It’s possible that the Oilers have just been THAT unexciting.)

Glad McDavid got one.

So, what's the tally so far. McDavid on the ice for 5/6 of our goals in the series.

The line that scored the 1 other created 3 goals against in the same game (2 by general suck, and 1 with an idiotic selfish penalty).

Lol, welp, looks like this isn't gonna be a game where we get the bounces. You'd hope the hockey gods would have a tiny bit of mercy, but nope, double deflection goals against are a go.

So far the most exciting thing that's happened tonight was seeing the international space station fly over us here in PEI. That thing was MOVING.

Yeah the fist time i saw that thing fly over I couldn't believe how bright and fast it was moving..
I have a pretty cool app on my phone that tells you when and where to find it in the sky..

In a vacuum this would be a super fun game. Down 3-0 it is tough to fully enjoy it.
That said, I have a decent bottle of bourbon I usually only break out for Sat night games. Figured if we were going out sooner than later I was going out with a bang.

There is a solid chance my posts appear to come from an ESL student by then of the game. Well, more than they do at the best of times.
