If the flames beat the leafs and we win tonight, first place is temporarily ours!

I’m loving this season. With the restrictions we are facing and people’s general resistance to visiting, I am very happy that we have a good hockey game almost every night.

My Covid booze condition is going away and I think my wife actually misses me, but LFG. Bag us 2 more points. Keep the points separation going away from the Flames and Canucks.

After a day of rest I'm hoping to see a little more action from both teams to keep me awake this time around. Let's nab first place tonight!

Yamo needs to get healthy. That water bug is a huge part of the offence on that line. Hopefully Archibald gels a bit with Draisaitl. I love his crash and bang, but when he’s doing that he’s not really adding to the offence. It’s a forechecking line, but they seem to use the body in a different way.

Maybe it’s just my eyes lying to me. Yamamoto is to Draisaitl, what Devito was to Arnold.

I am hoping for more of a pace tonight, but not as much as I'm hoping for a dub

I'm hoping for exactly the same as Thursday. If this team can do that with consistency, i'll really believe.

I was honestly expecting him to get suspended.

Nah, the replay shows he actually pulled up from levelling the lame. Plus the lame was bent almost half over at the waist. I still can’t believe Yamomoto got a suspension for his “slew foot” , Turtle does worse EVERY time he plays the Oilers and gets nothing.
