Tiny wings and not-elite goalies are the worst draft picks. A dime a dozen.
I do wish they had drafted Martin Chromiak with this pick.

I prefer picks like this - especially this late. You can't teach scoring touch. You're not picking a perfect player, but the only way you can hope for someone who can develop. If they're not producing at 18, then the chances of them being a big contributor at any level at 23 years old is really unlikely.
"Thinking that a bad team's best players are the reason the team is bad is the "Tambellini re-signing Lennart Petrell" of sports opinions." @Woodguy55

Quote: | When the shot isn't an option, Tullio shows a great deal of adaptability, integrating one-touch maneuvers, playing pucks into space, manipulating defenders out of shooting lanes -- you name it, and he can do it. He plays with a high motor and shows real attention to detail on the defensive side.

I like that scouting report. Considering he'll probably play another couple of years of junior, and at least some time in the AHL, he may still fill out enough to handle the NHL game.
What happened to all of my messages? lol (I guess it's been awhile) BlueSky: StefBarnes

Interesting interview on Oilers TV..
https://www.nhl.com/oilers/video/draft--tyler-tullio/t-27743 7406/c-6794599
T. Tullio says he's known Zack Kassian for 3 years and has trained, and skated with him for the same period of time during the off seasons, both are from Windsor, sounds like Kassian has been sort of a mentor to him..
Also interesting.. his dad owns the OHL team he's on, Oshawa
