And Ennis and his 800k cap hit is looking like the best case scenario version of what we were hoping to get. Heads up quick player with good skill.

Goal 40 for Leon is the kind I'm used to seeing scored on the Oilers.

I still don’t know how that squeezed through!

Yams looks like he needs to shake off the rust, same with Kass even though he was back on Saturday.

The good news is that the Oilers are up 2-0 and killed off 2 penalties, bound to get a call here soon.

Once again, Sheahan line gets scored on, they get to try to redeem themselves, scored on again.

First one Sheahan whiffs on a puck along the boards and Nashville gets it and leads to a goal.

Second one AA decides not to pass to Bear from almost the same place Sheahan whiffed, losses it, and goal against.

What do I keep saying about Sheahan? He is just not good at hockey, at least good enough for the NHL. The team needs to prioritize getting a 3rd-line center in the coming offseason.

I can't trust this team to defend a 10-0 lead, much less 2-0 or 1-0....

AA only a -1 though, as Nuge hadn’t changed prior to the goal. #SilverLining (ugh he needs to get it together)

Looks like a project for Tippett. That was a pretty bad play ignoring wide open Bear and turning right into a pile of Nashville players. The stuff you do when your season is already over.

I believe in the power of the Tipp

It’s been a good week now... but the kids season was over not long ago. Literally. He was still a Red Wing when they were officially eliminated. I think. Anyway, hope he can get it together.

Klef's return will help, particularly with taking pressure off Nurse. Hopefully, it's sooner than later.

We had a chat about Klefbom in the GDT a couple days back. I fear we are about to see just how good he is and important he is to all three zones of this team.

The drop off by moving every player up one spot is huge.

Ouside of Larsson, who I think has been exactly the same I think every other D has looked worse from top to bottom.
Outside of the PP it isnt obvious what Klef meant to the D group but it should be obvious to every poster now, just how much he brings to the game in all three zones.

Nurse/Bear with coverage breakdowns on 2 Nashville goals. Nurse leaving netfront to support something on both, creating odd man situations single-handedly, no one picking up the extra guy in the slot. Brutal.
