I’m glad they scored of course, but I don’t like that they put Nurse back on the PP1 unit. I’d also like to see them replace Chiasson with someone else, perhaps AA.

I recall a pp in that first period in Vegas where Doubles had some time as the net front guy on that unit. Honestly think Neal is the guy for that spot, when he’s back.

Add: Athanasiou (aka. AA, Doubles) is too much of a perimeter player imo for that net front role on that top unit.

LEON!!!!

As for Chiasson? I don’t kind him in the PP. He goes to the net hard. Chips in on the puck battle. Plus he’s otherwise useless if he isn’t in the PP. Need to earn that money.

Chiasson has been pretty useless all season no matter where he’s played. Chia gave him that stupid contract, and he’s coasted since then...

Trying to be nice. He does go to the net. He’s only fanned on 6 or 7 open
nets and we are as he said, the #1 PP in the league. “I think we are okay”.

Haha

How do y’all feel about Ennis and AA so far? I like Ennis down low on the boards. AA doesn’t seem to compete as hard in close quarters.

It’s early, but I have a lot of time for Ennis. If he keeps building chemistry with McDavid I’d give him a 1 year contract. He’s a smart player like Gagner, but fast enough to get open and be in the play.

He lobs grenades with the best of them.

He plays that net front spot alright on the pp, he’s Neal light there.

Team still does that thing there if things don't go their way too long they just slump hard and stop playing. Painful to watch them drag their butts around because they missed some golden opportunities.

Team still does that thing there if things don't go their way too long they just slump hard and stop playing. Painful to watch them drag their butts around because they missed some golden opportunities.

They sure do eh? They gotta pull their socks up... they need to do... whatever it takes.

Also. Please Tipp, take Nurse off this top pp unit.

Oiler needs to be held like a rodeo steer before the refs will make a call.
