Oil need to put their work boots on for this one, it’s a #MUSTWIN ya know.
Should the Oilers fall behind tonight, you best bet this place will be a roller coaster of emotions.
Hope the boys put on a good show for G2K!!!

Is it safe to say this is the Oilers biggest game since Game 7 in 2017 against the Ducks?
Or am I must winning this a little to hard?

This is a safe assumption. It’s definitely reaching record highs on the MWS (must win scale).

Can the Oilers win a game, without having 3 scored against them?
The Oilers have the 14th most goals against. Not bueno. Luckily, the Golden Knights are also 14th, but lead against the Oilers in goals for. That's a bit skewed because of the games in hand.
It's going to be a tight game. Maybe a goalie battle?

2015/2016 - This Kool-Aid tastes like McDavid flavoured Drain-O.
2016/2017 - This Kool-Aid is starting to taste like juice.
2017/2018 - I'm drinking this Kool-Aid, in hopes that it's Drain-O.
2018/2019 - Another round of Drain-O, good sir!

Can Mikko close the door after his rather meh showing against Minny the other night?
Team needs their works boots on tonight. Mikko needs to close the door.

Bad news on both counts. Same lineup as last night except for Koskinen in net.

Wonder if Matt Benning is having some kind of illness or is suffering post- concussion syndrome or in Tippett's doghouse wearing Milkbone underwear. I like Benning's play but no way he can replace Nurse in the lineup. Nurse will hopefully have his head screwed on right tonight.
Last game of Kassian's suspension.

That's an 11:30 start (assuming no pre-game shenanigans) for Mike and I.
Quit yer whining!
I actually woke up this morning with Ched still playing on my phone. I couldn't keep my eyes open to watch the stream last night so switched to Ched, figuring I'd just listen to the 2nd & 3rd periods. Guess I never made it to the end :)

That's hilarious. Yeah, I was up until almost 2:00 last night. Should be past 2:00 tonight with a snowstorm on the way. Kids better behave tomorrow...

I was in San Jose for work a couple weeks ago, and it was the strangest thing to me - getting back to my hotel at around 6:30 and all the games on the east coast finished They don’t START until 8:00/8:30 for me normally.

Yeah, I'm not going to watch. My kids are sick and the wife is traveling, so I got about 3 hours sleep last night. I'm crashing out as soon as I get them down tonight.

Every time I see Chiasson play a shift nowadays, I want to take a nice running kick into Chia's nuts. Hopefully Nurse and Larsson have a better game tonight, or it's going to be ugly.

The hell was up with Chaisson last game. Dude just gave up on passing and was flipping pucks up into the air over and over. Looked like he was skating in mud too. Dude looks hopeless. Only a boost of motivation in his next contract year can save us with him, and that better be the end of it.
Some guys, just can't give them multi-year deals. They are already borderline, but losing that motivation of the next contract puts them under.

Especially with the new roster pieces, players like Chiasson and Khaira are REALLY sticking out on how slow they are.
Guys like Haas and Patrick "Toby Rieder" Russell at least seem a bit better (visually™) because they can forecheck and create a bit of turnovers or in Haas case draw alot of penalties. Chiasson really hasn't been doing much of anything.

Drai/Nuge REALLY missed 56. Based on one game we are back to being a One Line Team again. I hope to be proven wrong tonight.
...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

Hey, the way they kept coughing up pucks along the boards in their own end I don't blame the guy for firing mortar shells to center ice, better out there than in your net.. that being said, his lack of speed is a boat anchor out there..

Hey it wasn't ChiaPet that signed Chaisson for TWO years... that was an early signing by Holland, probably before he did any homework.. or he did, and it was old Oiler pro-scouting reports... duoh!
