If you don’t think tonight is an important one to get into the win column, then we’re not (Internet) friends.

Gotta win. Nice to win. Need to win. Have to win. However you wanna say it, the Oilers need these 2 points tonight. Season isn’t won/lost on this game, but the tender psyche of this team could use this win big time.

I’ll gladly fall on my Survivor sword... MUST WIN!!!

.500 hockey doesn't involve long losing streaks, unless you can also have long winning streaks. Since I don't see many of those in our future this is a ...

MUST WIN!

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Should the Oilers lose it will be their first 3 game loss of the season.

I don't want that stat, I just want to see a win - gutsy one at that.

The very definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing expecting different results.

Generally Disappointed.

Predict Chaisson will go out hard for awhile, then relax back to the norm..

Hahaha Chiasson prediction is spot on (imo).

With his compete level, I wouldn’t mind seeing Gagner on Nuge’s wing. Also, there’s so much made about 97/29 together, apart... Nygard’s speed with McDavid is a treat, but (and I may be wrong... Adam or one of you stats ppl can prove me right/wrong) I think this team is much better with the top dogs together.

Theoretically this lineup should spread the scoring out a little more but that theory has been tried before. Do Benning's concussion problems coincide with the skid? Hope he gets back soon at 100% ( can't believe I said that ) Must not lose!

For some reason, Tippett is allergic to putting Gagner on a line with any offensively inclined players. He also doesn't get PP time if it can be avoided. They've talked about his skating, but I haven't seen that look like a problem in any game this year.

Should be a good effort after a loss last game (a real loss, not a loss where you can feel good about getting a point like against Buffalo). But it's Minny...

A visually better effort resulting in a moral victory?
