The score prediction contest has 75 percent of us predicting an Oilers win. Maybe our team is slowly turning most of us into, well, fans of the Oilers.
I expect a different style of game from the Stars than we saw from the Avalanche. Much more grinding and physical play with the Stars targeting the top two lines. Maybe the third and fourth lines can give a little offensive spark, but don’t hold your breath. It’s like hoping for fair refereeing.
The defence did a great job against Colorado, and will have to be just as sharp against Dallas. This is the kind of game where Janne Niinima, Todd Marchand, Ethan Moreau, Mike Greer, etc. would bring it on. Hope some of the lesser lights on the Oilers can do the same.
If anyone is going to be at the game, please let us know how Jones is doing. It’s hard to tell about defensemen on TV.

Dallas is always a pain in the ass.
Hopefully the Oil don't come out with typical matinee dopeyness. They should have momentum after that last game, a good team carries that inertia.. we'll see who they are..
