Can't say I'm a super huge fan of the Bouchard starfish.

This is pretty painful to watch... make the first pass on a breakout FFS... reminds me of problems this team has had in the past. Just awful!

I can't narrow it down to one thing but this team plays so different in front of Pickard than it does Skinner.
They play timid and boring. No creativity, no speed, no anything. It happens a lot where they sit back, chip the puck and watch it and then shoot from the outside if they finally get into the O zone.

Agreed... and that timidness has led to lines being stuck out there for more than 1min15 on 2 separate occasions in the 2nd. No forecheck, no O zone time, no pressure - all started by a laiser-faire approach to our D zone

Perry makes all the difference on that pp - its crazy imo not to use him there. Still has the hands and hockey sense of a hart trophey winner.

Looking like a functional PP again. And PK on a streak. Worm slowly turning.

Love to see. McDavid heating up too. Just a thing of beauty as long as we don't blow the third period

Pickard also been solid

Oh good... bouch the pylon has decided to show up in the 3rd. That was a great shot for the goal but wow that's a defensive fail

Nuge had all the time in the world to pick up Crouse too and ended up just coasting and covering no one and watches a 3 on 2 form in front of him. At least Bouch is creating offence now. Nuge is going full 22/23 Brown this year.

Better score soon. Utah is definitely getting a late PP. We’ve dodged a few missed calls.

One of those games where all the goals were scored on the same end of the ice.
