Brutal turnover by Ceci leads to a Hawks goal.

Lots of giveaways and bad coverage. Chicago should be up by a couple.

That could have been a 5 - 3 period for Chicago. No one is playing D, and the Oilers are playing even less effective D than the Hawks.

Rough period.

The Oilers don't deserve to win this one, as it stands presently.

Was just thinking that. How is this different from that one, which was "OK"? Other than Drai being right on the line rather than 3 feet inside the blue line?

Between 2 blatant non calls on high sticks and 2 goals back, it would seem that the Hawks are getting the vet treatment and the Oilers are the AHL scrubs in the eyes of the refs. Sleepy game from the Oilers, granted, but piss poor reffing keeping this game close.

What a gross game from the Oil though. Super lazy. They might squeek out this win, but what an awful effort.

If they were playing this way against one of the league's best... they'd be getting smoked.

Yep, gotta give him credit. Team is asleep in front of him, but he's been making some solid saves the past half dozen games or so yet doesn't seem to be getting much recognition for that. Everyone happy to pile on him when he wasn't making those saves though...life a goalie I guess.

This is easily one of the worst games I've watched the Oilers play while winning a game.

They look sooooo bad in this one. The Oilers are a mess.
