Both of these plus load management. Maybe don't overwork the top guys all night?
I think it is only the hardest of hardcore Flames/Canucks fans who believe they have a playoff chance left in them. That Canuck team had to have felt dejected as the Oilers basically played successful pond hockey all night on Saturday, while 97 and 29 raped and pillaged Vancouver.

Yeah - I'm happy if McDavid & Draisaitl play 18 minutes instead of 25.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Bouchard in, even if you're playing him on the wrong side.

Need to win in regulation to keep the Lames still dreaming. That way they can keep rolling out going to be 38 yr old Gio 23, 24, 25 mins a night while Sutter doesn't play and bashes their young dmen for making mistakes.
