March 2nd... meaningful game?! That has to mean it’s a #MUSTWIN

Assuming Smith will go today and Thursday, Koski tomorrow and Saturday. Give Smitty the 2 and 3 day breaks before the Vegas game next Monday.

Huge chance to put more space between the Oil and the wild card teams. HUGE.

Last week Dave Tippett expected his return “early next week.”

Whaaaa. AA-Sheahan-Kassian?

Tippett must have really not been happy about AA's last game. Kassian was pretty 4th line'ish last game too. He's shockingly bad at winning board battles and making plays off the boards. He's like 1/10th of a Yams on the boards. Dude was giving me Looch flashbacks last game.

Maybe AA isn't 100% yet so is getting reduced ice time. Kassian a bit rusty I would suspect.

I really don’t think AA is 100%. He also strikes me as someone who has is comfort zone and struggles to come out of it, makes it tougher when traded. That said, with these lines, if he’s able to be the offensive driver with Shea (who he knows from Shea’s days in Detroit) and Kass he could provide a good 1-2-3 punch.

I think this line might leak chances against.

If it was me and you aren't going to have AA and Ennis with McD, I would have Kassian on his line and have Arch with Sheahan. Kassian has shown to have some chemistry with McD plus he can skate and can dig out pucks. Arch gives you more of a defensive guy on the wing to offset AA.

I like it. ASK line. I was trying to think of name for this line but Sheahan and Kassian are similar sounding in my go to areas of name jumble. Kassanashan was my favourite of what I wrote down but I friggin’ hate that one lol.

Could be a pretty good energy line with AA and K, if Tippett can get them out against some weak competition. Could say this line is Tippett "ASK"ing these wingers if they have what it takes to play with McDavid again :)

Yamamoto is IN.

29 improved his +- as soon as Yama was added to his line. Coincidence? I think not. Hard to believe the effect he (Yama, not 29) has had on this team.

It's easy to predict a win tonight... god icon_nod

Yamamoto is IN.

29 improved his +- as soon as Yama was added to his line. Coincidence? I think not. Hard to believe the effect he (Yama, not 29) has had on this team.

It's easy to predict a win tonight... god icon_nod

I wish I didn't absolutely loathe Yam Fries, could be a thing I'd eat tonight in celebration.

Yam Fries and anyone who enjoys them are evil/serial killers.

Whenever I see them as a side dish on a menu I shake my head.

Wife and kids love em. I always find that they just aren’t ‘crispy’ enough as a fry. It’s a wannabe fry. But I’ll still eat the 2#!+ outta them. I may be evil/a serial killer... I do really enjoy them chunked and roasted.
