I’ve been notoriously critical of Kassians warmup like shots on goal in actual game situations. His flick shot off the wrong leg.

I think Zack or someone else noticed as well. I’ve seen a change in his shooting. Nice snipe.

Nuge gets a hat trick. I don't recall any oiler getting 3 this whole season. Looks like the Kings are in full Tank mode.

On CHED they were saying how Brown and Kovalchuk’s contracts would be hard to move. They wouldn’t take Lucic again would they? Brown has 20 goals this season, and Kovy’s got 14 in 60 games. I’m sure the Kings players would have interest and Lucic absolutely none.

I think they might just be really bad and don't have a Tkachuk sized reason to care about this game

This is fun.

Too bad it just makes the standings look even worse when you see a game like this. Losses to NJ and OTT are heartbreakers.

Rieder is 3 shots short of being in record territory for shots with 0 goals in a season. You can do it Rieder! 3 more muffins, and then you can take the rest of the year off.

I admit to a short memory at times but;
- Russell the Muscle with the take down victory. First time I remember him fighting
- first fight I remember with ZERO connected punches but a clear winner.

Not sure why that fight was needed. Lucic sent the message earlier that our guys should not be messed with by attempting some failed dangles earlier in the game.

I got the joke re; Lucic
but I liked the fact is what as old school type fight. Not in the fight itself but it wasnt staged or had a strategy, wasnt two neanderthals who play 3 mins a piece and only skate to find a fight.

It was two guys who got mad and settled things.

Kass just dropped em with Clifford. Doughty tried to stop it. Such a sleepy game but a few fights. It's all the Kings have is physicality.

Russel won that fight. No punches thrown by either guy but Russel got the take down.

Not sure why that fight was needed. Lucic sent the message earlier that our guys should not be messed with by attempting some failed dangles earlier in the game.

I hope those 2 failed dangles resulted in 2 tantrums at the bench afterwards.

He’s not only a leader on the ice of course..

Hat trick Drai!

Two hat tricks in the same game! When was the last time the Oil did that?

Rieder is 3 shots short of being in record territory for shots with 0 goals in a season. You can do it Rieder! 3 more muffins, and then you can take the rest of the year off.

Two shots now.
