LETS GO OILERS!

Kass has the speed to keep up with Conner and Leon. Hopefully they mesh well.

One shift in and Reider on with Nuge & JP. Like that better than the dumpster fire himself, Lucic.

This team looked so good under Hitch the first 10 games - now they look....dare I say...Eakins like.

No Klefbom. No Russell. Now your defence is playing 5 more minutes against players that are a line better than them.

Your 2nd pair guys against 1st line for 25min. Exposed.
Your 3rd pair guys against 2nd line for 20min. Exposed.
Your AHLers against NHLers for 15min. Exposed.

Not a recipe for success, doesn't matter if Scotty Bowman is behind your bench. You spend all night trying to keep up with far better and quicker players.

Once I realized that this is the Oilers formula, all my hate directed to the players and coaches over the season evaporated. Though I still give props to Hitch for noticeable improvements, player downgrades aside.

The fact Kassian is even on that line is only due to the fact they are completely out of ideas. I see nothing to be optimistic about in regards to that. We are so boned.

I mean... at least Lucic isn’t with McDavid again?

Thought Nurse-Larsson was bad. Nurse-Petrovic is 10 times worse. Hitch couldn't take anymore and switched it up. Nurse seems like a hard dude to play with, other guy needs to be on his toes in his own end constantly. Russell may be the only guy we have that can do it and still play top-4 minutes.

Good thing for that bridge deal.

He's really slacking tonight. 0 points so far, while Draisaitl & McDavid both have two. Maybe he doesn't realize he IS the secondary scoring?

He’s been saddled with Lucic since midway through the 1st, no?

Having that stiff on your line must be like when your parents made you bring your little brother or sister to the dance with your friends.

Nobody is getting layed.
