Played like a bunch of turds again.

Double pressure to buckle under. Chance to be 1st in the division AND a chance at a 3 game win streak.

The pressure is just too much for these guys. Got to the cup finals twice and still play with rookie level maturity.

LOL. Crushed by Florida again. Tkachuk owning McDavid over and over again is easily one of the most depressing hockey themes ever.

Definitely an established one now though.

Only watched the first before turning it off in disgust. Lots of perimeter play, waiting for the puck to come to us rather than skating hard. Not sure how Florida gets in our heads so much.

On the bright side, both Vegas and LA lost, so we didn't really lose any ground (well...LA got a loser pt)

Knoblauch got ripped up in the post-game presser. Tough questions that were subtly and not so subtly targeting his ability to get the team ready. His blasé responses "good effort, just couldn't score" answers weren't going over well with the media who wanted some blood for a 4 zip shutout on home ice to the team that we've lost the last two Cups to. Knoblauch is the definition of a dud. No emotion, no intensity... just blahhhhhhh...

That was absolutely horrendous. One of the worst games I have seen as play all year. We are still way too inconsistent.

And Chuck Norris died. Just a horrible day

At least we are consistently inconsistent.

The Grim Reaper just retired. Chuck chose death to take on a new role.

I was thinking this morning about that 2024 game 7 and what a massive swing that was.

If Edmonton wins that game then Florida has lost 2 finals in a row including blowing a 3-0 lead. I would say if that happened Edmonton almost certainly wins in 2025 too and Florida are the biggest choke artists in NHL history...Somewhere in an alternate universe.

That Reinhart goal was so brutal icon_thumbdown

Frederik is out.

I turned the game off after 2-0 .. I guess Fred wiped out forechecking at the end of the 2nd period.. never returned..

Guess we will finally be seeing Jarventie..

Saw him bouncing around like Bambi in the 2nd period struggling to hold onto pucks. Think I remember seeing him get rocked.

Oh well
