That might be the most Darnell Nurse sequence ever.
My favourite part might have been the pass to Draisaitl 3 feet off the ice and behind him.
Way to keep your composure after getting rocked.

Looks like these rebuilding Oilers have a player in Savoie!
We need to start reframing the conversation around this team to reflect what it is. They are a middling team in this league now, and they are rebuilding for the future.
Tie game and they are getting heavily outshot, plus the leadership core are taking terrible penalties that don't reflect a team that is committed to winning.
Maybe they'll end up getting some good value for McDavid and Drai when the time comes, but this iteration of the Oilers legit sucks. They've shown nothing this season that would suggest otherwise. Let's be honest here. They haven't.
Back to Savoie... the guy looks legit.

Nevermind..Nurse just topped himself. Clean cut breakaway in the slot and finds a way to shoot it into his own player

This game looks like the Avs game, minus the goal differential. Oilers are getting crushed in their own zone.
I'm not sure how the coaches are teaching them to fight for position and to anticipate the play, but every Oiler sweater is behind the play.
