At this point we are now just as close to being out of the playoffs as winning the division. After being within striking distance of 1st overall. 🤮

This team is a Leon Draisaitl away from being in the draft lottery. Good thing the latest R1 pick they traded is protected because they are 1 injury away.

Our goaltending is a trash dump. Team is folding like a house of cards. Knoblauch looks desperate and like he doesn't know what he's doing. McDavid and Draisaitl look soooo pissed.

Hey Bowman, looks like our goaltending was totally fine, hey? Goddamn it... Skinner isn't going to win anything.

My three year old just said they should call the team the Poopies. Just a kid being a kid, but it kind of fits.

Choosing to go into the playoffs with these guys is worse than when they kept thinking Smith and Koskinen were a Cup winning tandem.

Skinner with 2 games over .900 over the last 10. Just not good enough.

2 in the last 11, with one of the 9 sub .900 games also being sub .800.

He's playing like a scrub right now.

Knob's post-game interview looked so shaky and scrambled. He's lost the room and he knows it. So many totally useless vets on this squad. Totally useless.

McDavid has so many points in credit, but the last two games he's looked like some kid whose got lots of pace trying to play like McDavid. He's struggling with the puck, it's bouncing off his stick, he's leaving it behind, he's not getting past players cleanly.

When one of the pillars of our team goes down, it's always leaves us in a situation, this time it's gone down and no one is stepping up to fill the void. Leon is doing his bit, but it's just so lopsided. Saying all that and how bad McDavid was he still got 2 points last night some how.

And just like that LA is now ahead of us. With a game in hand.

Seriously need someone not named Drai or McDavid to start doing something.

Wasn't a poorly played game, considering it was b2b for us at least. Islanders skaters look pretty bad this year, gotta say.

Their goalie kept the game close. Pickard had to make some big saves too, but not near as many as Sorokin.

Agreed. We out played them for the most part. Their goalie was incredible. Drai was unbelievable
