Effort was there. To bad the one goal was a strange and stinky one, but the chance again was deserved after a pretty bad play in the offensive zone.
Better figure out whatever mind power Hill has over these guys before playoffs. Would be hilarious if Hill plays like trash again right after this game.
Hope Stecher is OK.

That’s the first time since 1944 that an NHL game has been played without a penalty and one goal or less.
Couldn't even get the game management late with some big trips, hooks and grabs. Just total night off for the refs.

As far as losses go, I can't complain about this one. Everything was firing except the puck just didn't bloody go in the net, mostly due to Hill. It was a solid game, just didn't connect.

One goalie will be on Team Canada.. the other won't.
That was a super softee goal.. bad dopey play by Leon to start off the gong show.. but .. Bouchard cut off the pass across.. and Stu ... ?? .. no idea .. 
Sean Burke is the "Director of Goaltending" for Vegas.. that's right.. DIRECTOR .. maybe Oilers should be looking at creating a goalie department.. chasing goalies drafted and developed by other teams after they have made it big.. commanding BIG cap and HIGH trade capital to acquire afterwards.. is a losing strategy.. need to draft and develop..
Vegas did it.. they got Hill for peanuts.. and turned him into an great/cheap asset.

Until Schwartz is gone... like bring in someone that's actually goaltended in the NHL. There is something legit missing from his textbook.
Maybe we need a retired NHL veteran who knows what works and doesn't on the big ice, not just in junior or college level.

Missed history. Game played out like a game 7 of a series. Rulebook out the window, do whatever you want to try to slow down the other team and try to make fans not see any skill plays (Vegas did 90% of grabbing/hooking/tripping). Just wonderful for the game of hockey at the start of December in a zero stakes game.
