This team seems to win the tough games and otherwise lay eggs. I’m saying a big 2 points in regulation.

I like the way you think because there's a musty wind blowing through downtown.

I’ll watch at the brewhouse tonight with a couple friends. If we lose I still have booze.

.. the gales of November come musty!
Has the makings of a Spankapalooza..
PK needs to tighten up..
Projected lines..
Hyman back up with McD.. Janmark getting his chance..
JP and McLeod together is going to be interesting.. neither of them usually know what to do with the puck when they get it.. both like to fly-by.. might even end up running into each other!💥
Expect the lines will mix in game.

This win is needed badly. With the devils coming up who have won 12 in a row and already beat us, and the Islanders who are playing very good hockey. This could get ugly if we don’t stop the bleeding here tonight

Jesus. What happened to the top 6? I don't imagine Janmark stays with McDavid too long. I honestly can't imagine the conversation in the coaches room that led to that decision.

Well I thought Janmark showed something the last two games that might move him up the ladder.. like maybe with LD.. but the top line?
The one thing with Janmark is he seems to be able to dig out pucks, plays decent position, and can make plays.. it might be a short lived experiment.
Coach mustn't think much of Holloway right now.. although that crank he got vs. St. Louis might have caused a lingering issue.. doesn't look the same..
Man, our defense is so underwhelming..

Janmark showed more than the others but unless we get some depth this season is in jeopardy
Let’s get a win tonight

Flame away but I really think going back to Nurse-Barrie as a pair could work well for this team, coupled with what we saw a Kulak-Ceci pair do last year I think that’s the teams best option for top 4 d pairs. Then roll whichever plug at 3d with Bouch in sheltered minutes.

High risk idea have one D pair for scoring and another for defending. It might not be a bad idea because any defense corp that has Nurse, Barrie, Bouchard, and Other is going to have a hard time icing two defensively competent pairings.

My biggest worry is Nurse.. he was supposed to be our #1 shut down D-man.. but he still loses his position and man in the D-zone.. never mind the top of the league D-zone turnovers..
Barrie brings another dimension, the PP QB.. so you can understand if he is a little less defensively skilled.. we were supposed to be able to say the same for Bouchard this year, but he isn't on the PP.. and his point shots look like he's been training at the Andrej Sekera Shin-Pad Assassin Summer Camp..
Kulak looks like he forgot how to skate sometimes out there, blown a few pivots for break-aways.. and not exactly a shut-down D-man physically.
Ceci to me looks like the best of the bunch right now defensively.
