I'd love to know how much Wayne Gretzky Estates and MNP paid for the rink board ads beside each other in front of the Oilers' bench.

Eh dont worry bout Oilers sponsor revenues, they'll get that back out of tier 1's shortly after fans are back in the building.

Stauffer ranting about Drai leading the league in +/- and powerplay points makes these goals against annoying. Drai tied for the +/- lead now after getting a minus.

So barring a very late comeback here Edmonton will bookend its season with losses to the very average Vancouver Canucks. Hopefully Winnipeg can't get healthy by the 19th.

It’s that 4th goal Vancouver scored.

Those are the shots that seem to, more often than not, find a way through that massive Finnish frame.

Was thinking Kostko might have a shot to get back to .900 with all the shots the Canucks took, even if he let in 3. But then that 4th one went in. Sorry Kostko, .899 or worse.

Have we seen a goalie in Edmonton improve on anything in the last decade?

Smith is maybe the only guy that sloped up here. GOt his own coaches last off-season and being a very confident and experienced guy probably helped him buck the trend.

The only goalies that can do anything here need to have supreme unflappable self-confidence and be aged vets completely set in their ways that can't be affected by have goalie coaching.

Really shrinks the pool. Probably do have to extend Smith.

The worst thing is his glove positioning, he's got his glove positioned OFF. NET. He's guarding AIR.
Had no clue where he was in relation to the net. Left the top corner open. Whatever Dustin Swartz is doing with this guy ain't working.
