Agree, he might get a point as he poked at the puck to keep the play going. Even if not, his ability to take space and attract attention contributes often to offensive chances.

I counted no less than 5 calls they should/could have made. It really is garbage. I know I’m whiny on the subject, but can you imagine the damage McDavid could do if teams would actually get penalized when they committed an infraction against him?
