Needed to get away with a win and Arizona not getting any points. They need 2 points tomorrow or it's fully over. 7 points back with a game in hand now. A win tomorrow gets them to within 5.
That NJ loss was really, really bad.

This team is some kind of stupid. They have zero chance of making the playoffs. Why would they even want to? Need highest draft pick possible.

Where would Blackhawks be without Kane? Tampa without Stammer or Kucherov? Toronto without JT or AM? Calgary without Johnny Hockey? List goes on man.....and to the dude below....its about developing a pride to win hockey games - this franchise has done enough losing.

This difference is those teams are near the top of the league, except CHI which has won cups recently.
So yes, they would be worse but maybe drop down to bubble playoff teams.
The Oilers are pretty terrible WITH those guys and would be fighting with the Sens and Devils for epic bad without them

I mean look at the devils, bubble team, gets in last year with Taylor Hall. This year, Hall’s been out the majority of the season and boom. Eating crud off the bottom of the river.
