Kids are watching a movie, drink is poured and bottle within reach for refills as required.
Ready to enjoy the game.
Mustest of must wins. I think the season is dead already but lose this one and it is unofficially official.

BEAUTY goal by McDavid, that was one on one with Ekman-Larsson, made him look like a scrub.
It all started with Nurse finishing his check on Keller, the Oilers are the only team that lets up against the small players. Punish them, tired of the little guys skating circles on Edmonton.

Not taking away anything from Nurse but started with a pretty good save from Kosko. He already looks better than the NJD game, hasnt fallen once!

Is Matt Benning the new Paul Coffey? 3 goals in 3 games and a tire fire on defence.

This last ten games or so he has been a lot better in his own end. I still wouldnt call him a steady shut down guy but hasnt been terrible.
Nice to see him confident with the puck though. That is the biggest difference I see in both ends. Head up and making a play with it, not simply shooting the puck whichever way he is facing.

Khaira cheating on the pass. Man, I like the guy but he’s slowed down the team since he got back.

That Yotes goal was a team effort by the Oilers. Sekera looked like a 5 year old at the blueline, Jujhar was 4 feet behind the guy he was supposed to defend, and Benning goes skidding on his belly into the corner instead of defending the goalscorer.

Before the shift where they scored the Oilers had 4 shots on goal. Then got 4 in back to back shifts leading up to the goal.
Then sit and watch while the Yotes tie it up.
Other than the McDavid rush, a decent PP even though they didnt score, then the 2 shifts leading to the Benning goal they have been VERY sloppy through almost half of a game.
Even line changes have been clunky and disjointed.
How they still make preseason mistakes in a game this late is baffling.

Watch Nuge on that goal too. Just coasting. All the time in the world to get to the wide open Galchenyuk.

It’s the biggest game of the year and you got RNH, Khaira and Gags looking like the 3 Stooges.

Nuge is a winger. Just not good enough, not focused enough, not quick enough thinking to play both sides of the puck for long periods at C. He just becomes a nothing player when he's playing C.

When do opposing PK's ever allow McDavid or Drai to be open on the right side as much as Galchenyuk is basically for the entire Arizona PP while he's out there? What is really wrong with our team? Just...everything?

In their defence it’s not the biggest game of the year. It’s the off-season.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Need 2 points and Yotes 0, but Arizona knows that too so they are just playing for OT.

Jerks are trying to help ruin our draft position.

Why am I even watching, just getting so mad. This is the worst effort I’ve seen, the last 2 mins with the Oilers in possession was pathetic.

Nuge's game looked half hearted and kind pathetic for a guy making that kind a dough.

I honestly think he's trying. He's just...not that good defensively. Not good enough to consistently be solid defensively as a C. It just seems unnatural to him, and it takes all his brain power to try to be 1/5th of a Datsyuk. The effort and mental energy he puts into trying to be that drains everything else from his game.
