My son, the Leaf fan, will be at the game tonight wearing my #97 jersey.
He just sent me a text.
"I am prepared for one of the worst hockey games I have ever seen live. If not for McDavid I would have passed on going at all"
This is a low for me on a personal level. He is there visiting his grandparents and finds hanging out with the seniors more fun than an Oiler game minus one player.
Very few people love live hockey as much as my kid. Keep in mind that we live in Regina so seeing an NHL live isnt an opportunity we get without a decent drive and expense.
