LOL... good win by the boys in Nashville. Good to get in and out of there with the two points.

I was expecting a bigger push from the Preds, considering the way they've started the season... but they looked pretty lifeless for most of the game. Glad the Oil didn't play slump-busters.

Decent game all around. Not perfect but a well played game.
Nice to see McDavid turning things up. Nurse will always have blind haters but he is playing a smarter, more controlled game. A little angrier than last year as well.
Not sure how anyone has been bashing J. Skinner. He has been consistently somewhere between decent to good. For a 3M contract he is exactly what they need moving up and down the top 9. Honestly, I have barely watched him during his career but his hockey smarts without the puck seem to be top notch. Always seems to be in the right spot and finding soft, open space.

Nurse was better for sure. Super weak play on first GA, but after that looked comfortable. Stecher would have been really nice to have last playoffs, but guess we also need to play some more good teams. Dallas will be a good test for our D again. Emberson looked better too. And obviously Kulak is a sniper now.

Our "3rd line" ended up our 2nd line for ice time it looks like. Henrique is looking pretty good out there with Skinner and Brown. Would be really nice to have a useful middle 6 forward group. One can dream that McDavid and Drai can mature enough to do what Rantanen and MacKinnon have done for years, and not fall back into that lackadaisical mode where McDavid and Drai stop playing any D and both refuse to shoot when playing together too long.
