McDavid shooting multiple times on the same shift. Crazy talk.

Media must have hyped our powerplay too much. These guys are not moving well and making sure passes are available out there. And still lots of bad forced passes. Gotta get it together on the PP again.

ISO: Ekholm jersey. Best d man we've had since CFP. Love the Bouch bombs, but #14 is the real deal.
Too bad the Norris devolved into the "which D got the most points" award.

Ekholm has really stabilized the d. Best dman since Pronger and it’s not close.

Awesome to be up 2-0.
Man. -Ceci needs to sit a game.
And how is that cross heck to the back when the Stars flipped the puck out not a penalty? Cross checking or interference, take your pick. But both refs were looking right at it. So frustrating.
And how awesome to see McDavid shooting? And a few big body checks? Love it.

Great first period.
I suspect Mike might want them to pull back & quit pushing the next 2 periods ;)

First period was absolutely brilliant. If not for McDavid and Nurse missing empty nets, it could be even worse for Dallas. But let's not get overconfident one of the games started out like this and the good guys still lost.

Ahhh... the predictable second period crater by the Oilers.
Why the hell did Hyman fly the zone when Nuge tried so hard to get it out. He had a terrible shift there.
Hard to criticize the guy, but that was a truly trash shift.

Weak plays on potential clears are getting costly

Yeah, bad clear by Foegele leads to the cycle of death that put Nurse on the ice for almost two minutes (I mention Nurse specifically because he gets victimized when he's out for too long... completely stops moving his feet)... and then Hyman making zero effort to help Nuge clear leads to the goal.
Come on guys. You play a PERFECT first period followed by an absolute dumpster fire to start the second.

Another stupid Desharnais play leads to a goal in what has been a terrible period.

Where do I find stats to show how much time a player has spent in each zone (if it exists). Have to think Ceci has been hemmed in 75%+ these playoffs.

He's been a dumpster fire for 2 rounds now. Surely bring in Broberg or Stecher couldn't be worse. At least those guys can skate quick.

This is so predictable, and Dallas knows it. They are piling it on.
Ek blows a tire and NO ONE covers for him. Tie game.
Shots are 10 - zip in the second period for Dallas, halfway through. Show some goddamn mental resilience.
3 - 2 Dallas. Pull Skinner and figure this garbage dump effort out.

If the Oilers fall back into a defensive posture… again, this game will be over… Stars will win.
Skate, forecheck, push the play. Play the game that got you there… not the one you have no clue how to play.

Put Henrique on the first line in Nuge's spot. Nuge looking super weak out there

Dallas got the message in the intermission. 😟
I'm chuffed to see Skinner get some shots. and make saves. Need him in the game and not watching.
