From what I've read McDavid sitting out is totally his call. Most likely he wants to be at his healthiest for playoffs. And I'm fine with that with or without 97 I think The Oilers can beat The Knights who aren't as intimidating as they appear. The biggest thing I took from this podcast was Vegas got off to a fast start but have been a 500 type team since. They were the Champs last season but what have they done this one?

I was holding out hope as well, but the Blues would need to win out (CHI, CAR, SEA, DAL) and Vegas would need to get no more than 2 points in their next 5 (EDM, MIN, COL, CHI, ANA).
