It’s almost a shame we have to sit through 82 regular season games. This is a different sport.

What a great period for the boys!

So far the physical edge is to the Oilers by a landslide.

Harnarayan Singh is trying his hardest to take the shine off this game, but he can’t.

It’s just that good of a game.

Few dumb penalties already tonight. Killing our momentum a bit at a time

The Kings have already slowed the momentum down with their smothering play between the blue lines. It has become the proverbial chippy affair since the first period.

hahaha, I like the call out of Durzi just giving Janmark a breakaway to jump on McDavid. Too bad Janmark didn't understand what happened

Lol, Hrudey thinks Durzi made the right play. New 2 on 1 tactic? Just rush the better of the 2 players and leave the other with a breakaway?

The early penalities really gave the Kings the momentum in that period, but we controlled it well enough. I know we didn't add to the score, but that was as impressive as the first period for different reasons and serves a warning to them for the rest of the series.

The old junk plays up the boards to no one never work out either.

If there is one thing McLellan knows, it's those plays.

Some weak plays happening. Didn't make this game easy. Lots of dumb penalties, wasted some golden chances. Now gotta find a way to grind it out.

:(

All starts with not taking a super obvious shot to let LA back in the game. Started great and slowly broke our game down with some crap plays and dumb penalties. Never easy with this team.

Hundred percent. We played well enough to win this game in regulation.

Uncharacteristic 2 penalties from Bouchard. Been a great and bad part of this game.

Kane with 2 bad penalties…this has always been a problem with him and the coaches need to get him to smarten up.

The end of this game is so Oilers. You'd think this kind of nonsense would be behind them now... but apparently not. Kane and Bouch took way too many penalties in this game... and it's costing them. Hopefully it doesn't cost them the game, however they have been playing with fire and are getting burnt by it now.

Good learning opportunity for Bouch. Kane should just know better.

I actually can't believe that they did this to themselves. This is the difference between a team like Boston, Tampa or Colorado versus the Oilers.

Just dumb penalties... shooting themselves in the foot. They're beating themselves in this game.
