Oilers re-sign Spencer Stastney for $1.525 x 1 Year
I think he's the odd man out, but at least they retain rights for low cost and at a tradeable price point..
I think he's like #8 on Defencemen depth chart now.. and #5 as a LHD.. if Mahko plays RHD then he's up to #4..

If Walman brings back his A game, and Shea shows last year is his new normal, we should have a pretty solid D group this season. Lots of decent players fighting it out for the last 3rd pair spot.
Murphy + Shea or Walman can be a good 2nd pair as long as 1/2 of these guys is playing like they are expected to.

The big question is what is Walmman going to be.. last years Walman (slow marshmallow), or a fit, and improved Walman?
I assume the latter until he proves otherwise..
