What a joke this is. The Avs are the new Red Wings I guess? Unreal. I’ve counted at least a half dozen clear penalties against the Avs that have gone uncalled. Absolutely brutal.

Not a fan. I'm glad we're getting goals, but he's pretty unlikeable. I don't really think it makes sense to just forgive a guy for some serious charges simply because he's good at hockey and plays for the right team.
I hope he's got it together, and keeps it together. I also really hope that the Oilers don't prioritize signing him over, say, Puljujarvi.

It does seem like some fouls just aren't called. Arms straight out after cross-checking someone to the ice? No problem.
Then they'll call something ticky-tack a minute later. So frustrating. These are supposed to be the best refs in the world???

I like the hockey player. He’s an entertainer. I would never buy a jersey or tell my kids to emulate the person, but I would say play like him. Athletes should never be considered role models, but if he’s being a good teammate (for a change) and producing. Sign me up.
I’ve cheered for worse entertainers.
