Seems every time I look at a St. Louis score sheet Broberg and Holloway have a point on 60%+ of blues goals. Just so gross. Keep them off the score sheet tonight oilers!

I don't think the Oilers had a choice but to walk away from both. It was a good move on St. Louis' part. I wish them well but think they would have been a case of players being good, anywhere but in the 'Chuk. They're not the first, and won't be the last.

They did have a choice though - not an easy one but they could have kept both.

Obviously ideally Amstrongs golfing partner wouldn't have let it get to this point but even when the offer sheets came in they had a choice.

I thought/think Holloway is replaceable..I would have let him enjoy a million extra in St Louis and likely miss the playoffs.

Can't let the D-man walk though. Especially on this team - Brobergs salary is tough but it's only 2 years. I think they will regret not finding a way to make it work.
