Great game from the big boys, once Drai woke up and turned it on. Stastney looks great and Jarry SHOULD have had a really nice stat line at the end, if not for another rough sequence for Henrique's line. Our bottom six is a complete black hole for offense and they need to sit some guys.

Awesome win. I only got to watch the 1st period, and they looked good for most of that period. How is everyone feeling about Jarry? I didn't see him challenged a ton outside the goal scored and a Tavares breakaway in the 1st, but wondering how he looked the rest of the game.

Also, you have to feel bad for Stetcher on the own goal. In his reaction you just see how much he hated himself in that moment.

Regulation win against Toronto in Toronto. Seems like a pretty rare event for these guys.

Too bad everyone stopped playing in that last minute to ruin the >0.900. Better luck next time Jarry.

I just want the Ws, stats be damned.

But yes, I think Jarry got the perfect Oilers first game... the team wins but you give up 3 because the team wasn't covering their man. Hopefully with a new goalie who looks much more confident, maybe we'll see some more accountability from others, Bouchard and Nurse (each on the first two goals) wise up.

Illegitimi non carborundum.

First time at Scotia Bank Arena and first time seeing the Leafs. The concourse up top was under some renovation and it made the bathroom lines unbearable. It had zero atmosphere aside from a group of Oil fans that brought energy and laughs. When the Leafs were cooked they started a let’s go Blue Jays chant. Awesome.

Fun game to be at, but for the traffic getting and leaving there, the cost of a pair of bleeders and the terrible concourse I’ll safely say never again.

Oil are picking up steam.
