He sure is. And Bouchard is a brutal defensive defenseman. That Cowan goal was a nothing play, but Evan played it so soft.

Leon's falling back into bad habits. Throwing the puck all over the place and a number of giveaways this period, and then bad body language after he gives it up. Slow to back check as well.

If Skinner is watching the game he must be feeling better..

Bouchard is right there.. has no idea what to do.. even though its an expected outcome.. goalie makes save.. deflection off pads.. puck is there for an open net rebound.. so.. tie up the freaking stick .. body him.. do something.. guy just stood there..

Welsome to the Oilers defensive zone Mr. Jarry

Nurse is a train wreck. Virtually unplayable in his own end.

Bouchard isn't a problem for the Oilers. Nurse has been decent tonight.

If we want to nitpick on a night we're crushing the Leafs, I think it's worth saying that our third line (Frederic/Henrique/Janmark) has to be the worst third line in the league. Just a complete black hole and no threat to do anything but skate around.

So far Jarry's been decent.

McDavid & Draisaitl are at another level right now.

8:00 left in the 3rd, Frederic had more positives the whole season combined. Not amazing or anything, but like 3 big hits, handled the puck well…man, sure would be nice to not just pissing $4m per for the next 8 years.

Frederic had a noticeable shift just now. I’m praying that’s him coming around. Because he has made Eric Belanger look like a wrecking ball.

I know there will be good games and bad games, but Jarry inspires a lot more confidence than Skinner. Just seems more composed. Less floppy.

And McDavid these last few games - he just does so many things nobody else on the planet can do, thy stop talking about all of them. But he seems to be playing as well as ever these last few games.

Way to pound on the goal horn after scoring a goal to cut it to 6-3 with 50 seconds left.
